Before You Reset:
Back Up Your Data: If there are saves, screenshots, or other data you want to keep, back them up. You can upload saves to the cloud if you have a PlayStation Plus subscription, or transfer data to an external drive or USB storage device.

Go to Settings - System - Back Up and Restore, then choose Back Up PS4.
Deactivate Your Account: Ensure your PS4 is not linked to your PSN account for game licenses or other purposes on the device you're selling:
