How to Hide Game Activity in Discord (Easy Tutorial)
To hide your game activity in Discord, you can follow these steps:
On Desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux):
Open Discord: Launch the Discord application on your computer.
Access User Settings: Click on the gear icon at the bottom-left corner of the Discord window, next to your username, to open User Settings.
Navigate to Activity Privacy:
In the settings menu, look for "Activity Privacy" under the "Activity Settings" section in the left sidebar.
Click on "Activity Privacy."
Disable Activity Sharing:
You'll see a toggle labeled "Display current activity as a status message." Turn this toggle off to stop Discord from showing the game you're playing to your friends or server members.
Additional Control for Specific Games:
If you want to hide activity for specific games rather than all, you can go to the "Registered Games" tab (also under Activity Settings).
Here, you can toggle off the visibility for individual games by clicking the eyeball icon next to each game's name. If you don't see this option, you might need to click on the game and then look for a toggle to hide it.
