How To Find Ancient Debris in Minecraft update 1.16
0In this video I go over the newest Minecraft snapshot 1.16. I mainly go over the newest resource added netherite / ancient debris. I show you the best way to find it. I show you the crafting recipe to make Netherite ingots. and how to upgrade your diamond armor to netherite Armor. I go over the stats of the new tools and armor. just an overall guide to the new Minecraft update 1.16.
How you can find netherite
Since it has the same trait as obsidian in the way that TNT does not destroy it you will want to bring a good amount of TNT with you to the nether. Next You're going to want to find a spot that is not near lava pools so when you mine down to level 16 you won’t hit as much lava. So place yourself at level 16 and mine a small tunnel in any direction that faces away from the upper lava pools. Then place some TNT in the tunnel and move yourself to a safe position and lite it. Once your TNT is finished exploding you should be left with a good amount of Ancient debris. This method surly the best way to find ancient debris considering it so rare and will save you so much time.
How to craft with ancient debris
Now that you have your ancient debris this is how you acquire netherite scrap from it. You want to start by Refining your ancient debris using furnace or blast furnace. the same way you would with gold and iron. Once done you should get netherite scrap. You will need a total of 4 netherite scrap & 4 gold ingots to craft a netherite ingot. So In a crafting table place 3 netherite scrap in the top and 1 in the left middle. Place gold in the center 1 in right middle and in the bottom first 2 slots.Like shown here. This will then output one Netherite ingot the way it's crafted makes This is the first alloy to be added to the game. You can now use this ingot in combination with any piece of diamond equipment using a crafting table. For example place a sword in the crafting table with a ingot next to it. This will then basically upgrade your sword to netherite it's as simple as that.
