How to find and choose available updates to your apps on your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)
This video will show you how to find the available updates to your apps on your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) as well as how to choose which apps to update individually and which to not. I have confirmed that this method applies to iOS versions 15 and 16, however this method may also apply to earlier and later versions of iOS. In order to check which apps need updating on your iOS device: open your APP STORE. in the App Store, in the upper right, you have your account avatar (or a blue figure head) as well as a small number in red (this number reports how many apps require updating SINCE THE LAST REFRESH OF THE APP STORE, ergo this number will most likely be out-of-date as time progresses.) Tap on this account avatar. On the subsequent Account page, grab any section of empty space (where nothing is written) and drag your finger downwards (by doing so, you are refreshing the Available Updates section). Once the refresh completes (the loading circle icon disappears) scroll down to find which apps require updating under the Available Updates header.
