How to possibly fix downloads or updates in the Google Play Store app being stuck in 'pending'
This video will show you how to possibly fix downloads or updates in the Google Play Store app being stuck in a 'pending' state. Ensure that the date and time are set correctly under the Settings of your Android device. If this doesn't help, again go into your device's Settings. Under Settings, select APPS. Under APPS, select GOOGLE PLAY STORE. Under Google Play Store, select CLEAR DATA (note that doing so does NOT delete your previously-downloaded apps, nor does it delete your Google account, nor does it unbind your Google account from your Android smartphone / tablet; rather, it simply deletes the parameters that were saved on your device associated with the Google Play Store app). From here, re-open the Google Play Android Market. If the list of apps requiring updating appears empty, you can either wait for this list to be populated automatically (this may take some time), or you can manually search for the apps that require updates and update them manually one at a time. If this doesn't help, again go into your device's SETTINGS. Under Settings, again select APPS. Under APPS, again select GOOGLE PLAY STORE. Under Google Play Store, this time select UNINSTALL UPDATES. Once your Google Play Store app has been reverted to the factory default version, hurry to open the Google Play Store app and in it manually search for the apps that require updates and update them manually one at a time (you must hurry to do so given that the Google Play Store app automatically downloads and updates the most recent version of itself in the background).
