How to Find Missing Developer Options on Fire TV Stick (Easy Tutorial)
Steps to Find or Enable Developer Options
Access the Settings Menu:
From the Firestick or Fire TV home screen, select the gear icon (top right) to open Settings.
Navigate to About:
For Firestick, Fire TV, or Fire TV Cube:
Select My Fire TV - About.
For Fire TV Smart TVs:
Select Device & Software - About.
Note: If you don’t see “My Fire TV” or “Device & Software,” check other menu options like System or Preferences, as menu names vary by model or region.
Enable Developer Options:
In the About menu, highlight the first option, typically your device’s name (e.g., “Fire TV Stick 4K” or “Fire TV Cube”).
Press the Select or Action button (center button) on your remote 7 times quickly. You’ll see a countdown message at the bottom of the screen (e.g., “You are 2 steps away from being a developer”).
After the 7th press, a message will appear: “No need, you are already a developer.”
Check for Developer Options:
Press the Back button to return to the My Fire TV or Device & Software menu.
The Developer Options menu should now appear. Select it to access settings like:
ADB Debugging: For connecting to a computer via ADB.
Apps from Unknown Sources: For sideloading APKs (e.g., via Downloader).
