HP Battery Alert
The system has detected the storage capacity of the battery stated below to be very low. For optimal performance, this battery may need to be replaced.
Primary (internal) battery (601)
If you receive this error booting up your HP laptop, NEVER let your notebook go into sleep mode or into hibernate mode. These laptops REQUIRE that the battery be present and contain enough reserve power in order to channel current from the AC adapter wall plug power charger, through the battery and to the notebook in order to power it (the laptop cannot be powered on without a battery present).
If your HP laptop will not power on and instead the white light by the AC adapter wall plug power charger connector blinks (flashes) an amber orange when you press the power button, you can either replace the battery with a new one, OR you can leave your laptop 'charge' plugged in overnight. The next morning, try powering up the laptop, and if that does not function, while plugged in, remove the battery, reconnect the battery, and try powering on the notebook again. This is what worked on my HP AMD Vision G62.
