A Logitech USB headset adapter A5572A (1/8 inch 3.5mm minijack microphone and earphone/headphone ports to USB) can not be used to play vocals (to sing) in music games such as RockBand and Guitar Hero. I've tested this on console versions of Rock Band and Guitar Hero/Band Hero as well as with Guitar Hero World Tour on PC. It should be noted that generic USB headsets do not function in these games either.
