WARNING - I will NOT be held responsible for any damages the software(s) and methods shown in this video may cause to yours or someone else's hardware, software, and/or data, including loss of use of such devices and/or loss of data and/or loss of profits from the resulting inability to use such devices and data. Any information or program you choose to put into use from this video is done AT YOUR OWN RISK. As a precaution, I recommend backing up any irrecoverable data before using ANY new software(s) and method(s), including those shown in this video.

This video will show you a workaround to the following error message when trying to bind a Google acocunt (such as a Gmail account) to an Android device (SmartPhone, Tablet, etc.):

Add a Google Account

Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call Customer Care.

This error, for the most part, has nothing to do with your Wi-Fi or network data connection and reception, nor does it have anything to do with your Google account's username and password being correct or not. This video will show you troubleshooting methods in order to bypass this error, allowing you to successfully log in and bind your Google account to your Android device.

Finding the Accounts & Sync option on your Android is not always as easy as shown in this video. Since the Android operating system varies from device model to device model, sometimes this option is hidden in different sections of the SETTINGS menu. On some devices I have seen this setting under BATTERY, on others I have seen it under STORAGE, and on others I have seen it under PRIVACY. If you cannot find it in the areas I have mentioned here and have shown in the video, then you will have to go through every single option in SETTINGS (including sub-sections and ensuring to press the menu/settings button in each sub-section to reveal other hidden sub-sections) until you come across an option related to SYNC or BACKGROUND DATA (once again, this varies from Android model to Android model). Hope you find it.

After you have tried all options shown in the video, if you still cannot bind your Google account to your Android device, I suggest that you try to bind your Google account using an app on the device that uses Google accounts, such as Gmail, YouTube, Maps, Chrome, Talk, Hangouts, Google+, etc. Also, sometimes in the Accounts & Sync section of the Settings, you can bind a Google account directly there (using an option called 'Add Account'). Try some of these options and let me know how it turns out.

If still no luck, a viewer by the name of John Ford suggests that you enable all of Google's Location Services in Settings before trying to bind your Google account to your device...try that and see if it helps. If not, another viewer by the name of Kael Hernandez suggests that you disable the Backup option in Settings before trying to bind your Google account to your device...try that and see if it helps. If not, another viewer by the name of Daniel Bagon suggests that you locate 'Google Account Manager' in Settings - Apps and use the CLEAR DATA button before trying to bind your Google account to your device...try that and see if it helps. If not, there have been many other solutions proposed by viewers in the Comments section of this video page: browse through these and who knows, maybe you'll find the ideal solution for your specific device. Good luck with it.
