To fix stick drift on your Xbox Series X|S controller without opening it, you can follow the steps below:

Pull up the analog stick that is causing the issue and blow into it or use a blower to remove dust and debris.
Press down the analog stick and blow into it or use a blower to remove dust and debris.

Use a q-tip or alcohol pad to rub around the analog stick and clean the inside.

Press down both analog sticks and rotate them clockwise and counterclockwise five times each.
Alternatively, you can recalibrate the joystick by following these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Select Profile & system - Settings - Devices & connections - Accessories.
Select the controller that you want to calibrate.
Select Calibrate.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the calibration process.
