If you are experiencing issues with the 4K option on your Xbox Series X, there are a few things you can try to fix it. One possible solution is to configure the Xbox’s graphic setting for anything but 4K@120Hz with VRR. You can do this by opening Settings - General - TV & Display Options - Video Modes and then changing the resolution. If you can’t see enough of your screen to change the video settings, you must boot the console in safe mode: eject any discs in the console and press the power button for 10 seconds.

If the above solution does not work, you can try unplugging the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes and then plugging it back in and restarting the console
