To set a dynamic background on your Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the console guide.
Navigate to “Profile & system” and select “Settings”.
Choose “General”, then “Personalization”, and finally “My background”.
Select “Dynamic background”.

Scroll through the available options, which include various designs like the familiar green “Waves” pattern, unique ombre colors, and more.
If you’re feeling nostalgic, try “The Original” dynamic background to transport yourself back to 2001 with the classic Xbox background.
You can also choose the “Xbox 360” dynamic background for a throwback to that dashboard.

Keep in mind that some backgrounds are exclusive to special edition hardware promotions, such as the 20th Anniversary Special Edition Xbox controller
