How to get Barrow-Dyad Exotic | All STEPS | All 18 Taken Osseous Fragments | Dyadic Ascension
132New "Secret" Exotic Quest for the Barrow-Dyad Exotic Submachine Gun. It is a craftable Exotic but a bit different in earning intrinsics and catalysts.
You will not be rerunning the exotic quest to earn the catalysts and intrinsic but mainly quests in expert nether. Those quests are still timegated. Maybe 1 or 2 in Act I but it goes all the way to Act III.
The intrinsics quests may need your vendor rank to be 9. I wouldn't know for the video as I've been rank 10 since week 1.
The Exotic quest is also named "Derealize". The quotations are a bit off. The past recent exotic quests would evolve over time and change names. This one seems to be a teaser for a bigger exotic quest in Act III. As the boss is not defeated in the end.
EXOTIC STEPS:
To start, I can't confirm but people mostly say you need to have Act I's story to be Step 15 to see it.
A Blight will spawn in 1 of the 3 starting locations. Trenchway, Hall of Souls or Mausoleum. The locations will always be the same for the blight but it may not spawn for you in that initial area. It is best to go back to orbit and try again.
Hall of Souls - Tormentor Room. Up the Pillar
Trenchway - Very Left Area of Spawn.
Mausoleum - Near Boss Area
Touch the blight to get teleported. Look at the to activate it. The arrow on the floor is the direction you need to move in but not looking away from the rune.
Head back to the slab after picking out the Fragment.
You need to equip the Scotopic Rune in the Runic Enchancment. You will need to be at least Rank 4 with the vendor as you need two enhancement levels. As the rune takes to level to equip. You will need to make space for it. So unequipped everything to equip it.
Head over the sorrows harbour on the moon. Enter the lost sector. Enemies should despawn and a taken blight should be halfway in the lost sector. This unlocks the rune. It will then reset the lost sector and taken will spawn. Defeat the orge at the end and pick up the fragment.
Next, you head over to the Cosmodrome's Forgotten shores lost sector. Head into the maze area and unlock the rune puzzles. Do it 3 times. Taken will spawn and try to backtrack back to the beginning. Beat the phalanx boss and claim the fragment.
The slab will have three curses to pick up.
The Sorrows Harbour - Pick up the curse and defeat enemies
The Nightmare Hunt: Pride - Pick up the curse at the end and beat the boss
The Sludge Lost Sector Hallowed Grove - Pick the curse at the start and kill fast.
After all, curses are done. You need to find statues in the Nether. I've read you can just the same ones over again for the fragments. Here are the 3 locations anyway.
Mausoleum - Before Boss Area
Hall of Souls - Next to spawn
The Founts - Other side of Hive door. The hallway that connects both ends.
After that. You can head into the Exotic mission "Derealize"
The first part is just to kill dread into you unlock the portal.
Once in the Trenchway head to the tormentor boss area. Get to the 1st health gate to spawn 6 sentinels. After all 6 is dead. It spawns 2 Orges that drop curses. Get kills with the curses and deposit them. Do this 1 more time.
Next will be the Rune puzzle. The order is shown above the rune. Each time you're correct it will remove one. If the wrong rune is shown then you need to wait for the timer.

Traverse up the fragment next to the blight. The blight will go away after picking the fragment. The main goal of the traversal is going across to each side past the invisible walls.
Eventually, there will be a green hive gate. There are 2 crystals in that room and 1 on the other side.
After that, it's pretty much the boss. Dealing damage to the 1st health gate will swap with the taken version, after reaching that health gate. You will need to destroy the blight orbs. Rinse and repeat 2 times. After transformation. Head back out to the plate to close the door.
After that, you get your first spine. Head back to the slab to pick up the intrinsic perk quest. Dyadic Ascension.

Hall of Souls
Trenchway
Mausoleum
To find them. Once you get near 1. The minimap will have a waymarker. Pretty easy. There are 18 in total.
You only need 12 before step 5. I would not try to pick all of them up but up to you. All we know it is timegated.
