Unlike in gen 1 pokemon games in gen 2 pokemon games you cant buy stones in pokemon mart. To get any of these stones in Pokemon Crystal (also in Pokemon Gold and Silver) you need to have a phone number of ceratin person that will sometimes call you and say that he/she has something for you and that will be the stone, you can save their numbers and then you will have to wait for them to call you (like I did in video). Here are pokemon trainers that will give you stones:
Leaf stone - Gina Picnicker in route 34
Fire stone - Alan Schoolboy in route 36
Thunder stone - Dana Lass route 38
Water stone - Tully Fisher in route 42
You can also gain stones by showing pokemon to Bill's granddad in route 25 near Cerulean City but in order to do that you will have to beat the Pokemon League and reach Cerulean City, first time you will get everstone from him and later you will be getting many different stones.
