To get party chat audio through your headset only on Xbox Series X, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the Guide menu.
Highlight the tab for Profile & system, and select Settings.
Ensure the options for General are displayed, and select Volume & audio output.
Select Additional options.
Ensure Mute speaker audio when headset attached is enabled 1.
If you’re still having trouble, try the following:

Check if your headset is properly connected to your controller.
Check if your headset is compatible with Xbox Series X.
Check if your headset is updated to the latest firmware.
Try using a different headset.
