How to Get Passed Set's Eye of Ra (Method #1) - Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy 100% Walkthrough
10Osiris will transport you to Uruk. Unfortunately he also places you right in front of a large Eye of Ra. There are 2 ways to get passed it: with & without Slim Burbles. This video shows how to do it using Slim Burbles (& also where to find them here). To see how to do it without Slim Burbles then see the video linked down below.
You can save in this area if you wish, but know that if you do you will never be able to return to Heliopolis without starting a new game.
Start off by climbing up the ladder. Run under either archway & quickly hide behind the stone structure on the right until the ray calms down. Jump over the gap in the ground, but do so in a way that results in you hanging off the ledge on the other side (rather than landing with your feet on the ground). The Eye can't see you when you're hanging off the ledge.
If the laser is calm then jump up & cross the 2nd gap so that you're hanging off of 1 of the pillars. The pillars will start to fall once you do this so hang on it for just a second before jumping up & completing the jump across the gap (once again hang off the ledge for a couple seconds). Jump up again & run until you're behind another large stone structure.
At this point if you don't have any Slim Burbles on hand then drop off the ledge to the left of the stone structure & land on the platform below. Quickly hop along the platforms until you reach a Slim Burble den at the bottom. Catch at least 2 Slim Burbles then quickly head back up to behind the stone structure.
To the right of the stone structure you should see a large pillar that is cracked at its base. Detonate a Slim Burble near the base of this pillar to make it collapse. Use the fallen pillar as cover from the Eye of Ra then detonate another Slim Burble at the base of the 2nd pillar.
Run to the end of the 2nd pillar & wait for the Eye to calm down. Once it does make a break toward the Eye of Ra by crossing the narrow bridge.
Before using the teleportation circle you can farm for any health you may need by breaking the little statue to the right as well as save your game if you wish. The teleportation circle will take you to the final boss fight with Set.
