How to Get Passed Set's Eye of Ra (Method #2) - Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy 100% Walkthrough
3Osiris will transport you to Uruk. Unfortunately he also places you right in front of a large Eye of Ra. There are 2 ways to get passed it: with & without Slim Burbles. You can save in this area if you wish, but know that if you do you will never be able to return to Heliopolis without starting a new game.
Start off by climbing up the ladder. Run under either archway & quickly hide behind the stone structure on the right until the ray calms down. Jump over the gap in the ground, but do so in a way that results in you hanging off the ledge on the other side (rather than landing with your feet on the ground). The Eye can't see you when you're hanging off the ledge.
If the laser is calm then jump up & cross the 2nd gap so that you're hanging off of 1 of the pillars. The pillars will start to fall once you do this so hang on it for just a second before jumping up & completing the jump across the gap (once again hang off the ledge for a couple seconds). Jump up again & run until you're behind another large stone structure. Wait here until the laser stops.
Quickly run around this rock structure & jump off of the ledge so that you grab it near the large pillar that is cracked near its base. Avoiding the beam is a bit tricky at this part because it can hit you while you're hanging off the ledge. Because of this it's a good idea to move along the ledge while you're hanging off it to dodge the laser.
As soon as the laser stops jump up & make a break across the narrow bridge toward the Eye of Ra. You should have enough time to cross it without getting hit by the laser.
Before using the teleportation circle you can farm for any health you may need by breaking the little statue to the right as well as save your game if you wish. The teleportation circle will take you to the final boss fight with Set.
