How to Get the Slicing Kit in Star Wars Outlaws - Easy Guide
7Welcome back to another video guide on How to get the slicing kit in Star Wars Outlaws.
To unlock Advanced Slicing, you’ll need to find the Slicer expert after completing the “New Tricks” mission.
The first thing you need to do is find out about the “Underworld Rumors” intel at Makal’s Gambling Parlor. So, head to the back of the bar, where you'll overhear a conversation between a Pyke and Crimson Dawn member. Use the nearby prompt to listen in, and you’ll unlock the “Aila’s Contact” Expert Intel.
Now, make your way to the Crimson Dawn district in Mirogana., and once you’re in, look for Aila’s Contact in the middle of the landing pad within the Crimson Dawn’s restricted area. Speak to him, and you’ll learn you need to bring Aila an Imperial Code Sequencer.
Your next stop is a small Imperial outpost in Southern Falls. So, open up your map, and fast travel to Mirogana's landing pad. From there, hop on your speeder and follow me all the way to the entrance of the Imperial Outpost. When you arrive, look for a technician in a light-gray uniform. You can either use Nix to quietly steal the sequencer from them or take out the technician and grab it from their body. I did try to sneak in at first, but then I lost my patient and decided to take them down. As long as you don't get caught or killed, you should be fine.
With the sequencer in hand, You’re now one step close to completing the Slicer Quest in Star Wars Outlaws. So, head to the larger Imperial base marked on your map.
The best way in is through a vent in a cave on the northeast side of the base. So, when you see a path on your left, take it and follow it all the way until you spot some walls. Climb these walls, then swing to the other side by pressing “R” on your controller to access the cave. At the end, you’ll find the vent, so go ahead, get inside and follow all the way to the end.
Once inside the base, head right, activate the device to turn on the steam vents, and sneak through them to climb to the second level. Take out a stormtrooper quietly if needed, then head a bit back and turn left where you will see one technician and one stormtrooper close to a door.
So, send Nix to attack the technician on your left, and at the same time, take down the stormtrooper on the right by pressing “X” on your controller. After that, finish off the technician and use your data spike to open the door. Keep moving forward, then head down the stairs on your right and straight into the next room to meet Aila. Once you’ve spoken to her, sneak out through the vent in front of you, head right, and find a ladder. Climb up to the rooftop and connect the sequences to the large grey antenna by pressing the button prompt.
Now, follow me down to the next area, where you’ll need to disable the red laser barrier. I tried to sneak in here, but ended up taking out all the guards instead. After clearing them, access the computer on the right side of the laser barrier, then head inside once the door opens to reach the next floor. Take down the two guards in front of you any way you like, then access the small computer base to break the code and disable the air defenses.
At this point, it’s time to get out of the base. You can either sneak out or make a run for it—whichever works for you, as long as you escape safely. Once you’re out, fast travel back to Mirogana to grab the slicing kit from Aila’s contact.
