This is how one can install and run these old games on a recent 64bit Win7 machine without the installer.
It shows briefly how to setup "DXWnd" to use it with "Streets" or "Copter" to run both games flawless and in a cool slightly enhanced way.

Since the version of "SimCopter" which circulates widely in the web contains a bad hacked executable and the career mode can't be finished (a version 1.4 never existed as far as i know) and since it would be easier to install/copy them from a prepped CD image, further i hold a to the latest release patched "Streets", i'm thinking about to create and upload them to my "OneDrive" (former "SkyDrive").
