The most popular program used to prepare for the Cisco exams is GNS3.

You can create more professional network designs because GNS3 allows you to use IOS images of real Cisco network devices.

To install GNS3 2.2:

Step 1: First, download GNS3 for your Windows computer by visiting the link below.

Step 2: After downloading the new version of GNS3 to your computer, run the setup file as administrator to start the installation.

Step 3: In the Welcome to GNS3 Setup window, click Next.

Step 4: After reading the terms of use of the program in the License Agreement window, click Next.

Step 5: In the Choose Start Menu Folder window, leave the default location, and then click Next.

Step 6: In the Choose Components window, select Intel Hardware Accerelation, VirtViewer, and Npcap and click Next.

Step 7: In the Choose Install Location window, select the location where you want to install the program and click Next.

Step 8: After GNS3 installation starts, WinPcap, Wireshark, Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager, VirtViewer, and Npcap will be installed respectively.

Step 9: After the GNS3 installation is complete, you can now run and use a Cisco Router or Cisco Switch on your computer.
