To create a Snapshot on VMware:

Step 1: If you have not installed VMware Workstation 15 on Windows or Linux before, please refer to the videos below:

Step 2: After installing VM Workstation, you have done a clean Windows installation and you can get a Snapshot of that virtual machine over and over again instead of installing a new Windows.

Step 3: You don't need to have a virtual machine running in order to get a snapshot. You can also get Snapshot when the virtual machine is turned off.

Step 4: Specify the virtual machine to create the snapshot.

Step 5: Click on VM / Snapshot / Take Snapshot to create a Snapshot for Windows or Linux virtual machine.

Step 6: Wait while the Snapshot of the Windows / Linux virtual machine is being created on VMware.

Step 7: After creating the snapshot, open the virtual machine and make changes to the system. For example, you can create a new folder.

Step 8: Open the Snapshot Manager on VMware Workstation to restore the virtual machine and select a Snapshot you created after installing a clean Windows and click Go To.

Step 9: To restore Snapshot, the virtual machine will close and reopen. After the virtual machine is turned on again, you will see an expression like "Restoring State 35%" in the left corner.

Step 10: After the Restoring State is completed, you will restore the Snapshot of the virtual machine.
