Hey guys it's Nagato again and for today's tutorial I'll be teaching you on how to merge PKG files and also how to get official updates by using an easy database tool made from Octolus. This PKG Update Database supports a multitude of games from different regions and gets updated whenever a update patch is release via Sony Servers "NP". There is also a cool Twitter bot that has been also implemented called @Ps4Patches which is connected to the PS4 PKG Update database and if you follow this bot it will automatically send alerts to your phone when a new update has arose for any PS4 game detailing the patch title id/required firmware/update version.

Prerequisites:

• Modded PS4: 1.76, 4.05, 4.55, 5.05, 5.07
• Ability to use MIRA+HEN/HEN 1.8: To enable the kernel exploit and WebKit to get debug settings
• Debug Settings
• USB Flash Drive either 2.0/3.0 that is formatted to either EXFAT or FAT32 *I recommend being on EXFAT, and having a USB that is at least 64GB or higher since PKG files can be huge in size.
• PS4 pkg-merge: To merge large package files that are over the 4GB cap.
• Remote PKG: This allows you to install PKG files over a network instead of over USB. *Optional*
