This video will show you how to make a custom hybrid hard and soft cover iPod Touch 4th generation case that will protect the touchscreen and front facing camera using a hardcover rigid case and will protect the rear facing camera and metal backing finish using a gel skin. The products I used to create this custom hybrid hard and soft cover case were the Tech-1 Protective Case for an iPhone 4 Device from Dollarama and the Gnarlyfish SmartCombo TuffGel Skins from The Source.

Note that this case solution is intentionally magnet-free (please do a search on Google for 'magnet dangerous iphone' before considering a case with magnetic clasps for your smartphone)
