How to fix Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock / Band Hero drum kit responsiveness issues on Nintendo Wii

This video will show you how to fix kick pedal responsiveness issues on your second-generation Guitar Hero drum kit (that which shipped with Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock or Band Hero) on your Nintendo Wii.
For those who would rather read an article than watch a video: Provided that you do have the newer model of Guitar Hero drum kit, you may have noticed responsiveness issues with the bass drum kick pedal (missed kick drum bars despite having hit the note indicators on time). For those of you with the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock video game, the song Again by Flyleaf (first song on the Quickplay+ song list) played accurately on Expert is a good song to reveal if you miss notes when you should not be. Should this be the case, I have found two remedies that solve the problem:
1. Use the kick pedal from the first model of Guitar Hero drum kit on your newer model of Guitar Hero drum kit (yes, this seems like an odd solution, but it works like a charm. Yes, you'll have to go back to the kick pedal slipping and sliding away from you in furious kick drum sessions, and yes you'll have to once again put up with the excessively long and thin kick pedal wire getting caught in things and flaking it's outer wire tube into small fragments all over your floor, but for those us with both the first model of Guitar Hero drum kit {most commonly found in Guitar Hero World Tour} and the newer model of drum kit, this can be the simplest solution to the problem. Your first model of Guitar Hero drum kit doesn't even need to be for the Nintendo Wii {I use my PlayStation Guitar Hero World Tour kick pedal on my Nintendo Wii Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock drum kit without issue}. Even buying a used and/or defective drum kit from sites like kijiji or craigslist in order to snag the kick pedal might be cheaper than the second {and only other} solution that I have found to this problem.
2. Use a foreign or knock-off Wii Remote in your drum kit (I know, this solution seems to make even LESS sense than the first proposed solution - I mean, how in the world can a fake counterfeit Wiimote work better than an original Nintendo Wii Remote? I'm telling you, in the Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock / Band Hero model of drum kit for Nintendo Wii, either a foreign Wii Remote {imported from Asia, non-English box} or a knock-off Wii Remote {purchased on sites like DealExtreme} will work better than an authentic original Nintendo Wii Remote intended for the North American market. I've tested three authentic North American Wii Remotes in my second generation drum kit, and all three Wii Remotes (one of which which came with my Nintendo Wii when bought brand new) function worse than the two imported Asian Wii Remotes I have, and also worse than the other two DealExtreme knockoff Wii Remotes that I have. I can't explain it, but it's worth bearing mention: the knock-off Wiimotes functioned better in the drum kit than the authentic Wii Remotes did {as did the imported Wii Remotes, as stated earlier}).
Use of any of these two solutions should solve the issue and allow for more accurate bass drum kick pedal play when using the Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock / Band Hero model of drum kit for Nintendo Wii.
