Type in %appdata%
Open Roaming
Open .minecraft
Open bin
Copy minecraft file
Paste into texture pack folder
Extract files
Delete class files
Edit to your hearts content!
Select all, archive as .ZIP
Paste into texture pack folder

You can edit almost everything visual about the game
Just experiment and enjoy!
