How to Make a Thor's Hammer (Mjölnir) - Your Edge
2,230Rick Janney teaches us how to cast a silver Viking Thor's Hammer in the 2nd episode of Your Edge .
Rick First carves a mold out of stone and than melts sterling silver down and pores it into the mold. After that he uses a jewelers saw to saw pierce the rough shape. Then the rough shape is formed even more by cold forging on the Nimba anvil. Details are than chiseled into the surface and finally a hole is drilled for the necklace.
