Steps:
Launch the discord app and open the server you want to edit.
Tap on the three lines button in the top left corner, then tap your server name from the top of the screen.
Select âsettingsâ.
In the server settings, tap âchannelsâ.
Select the channel you would like to edit.
Then tap âchannel permissionsâ.
Make sure you have âadvanced viewâ selected at the top and then under roles, tap âeveryoneâ.
Scroll down to the âtext channel permissionsâ heading, and disable the option for âsend messagesâ by tapping the âxâ to the right of it.
Disable the options for âsend messages in threadsâ, âcreate public threadsâ, and âcreate private threadsâ.
Then scroll down and disable the options for âsend text to speech messagesâ and âsend voice messagesâ also.
Now anyone with the @everyone role will be prevented from adding anything to the channel, making it a read only channel.
