Percentage Discounts:
Apply a percentage discount to specific products or the entire order.
Versatile for various promotions, such as bulk purchases or loyalty programs.
Buy X, Get Y:
Offer a free or discounted product when a certain number of products are purchased.
Encourages larger purchases and upselling.
Free Shipping:
Offer free shipping for orders above a certain amount or for specific products.
Encourages larger order values and customer satisfaction.
Configuring Promotions in Odoo 18:
Enable Promotions:
Go to Sales ‣ Configuration ‣ Settings.
Under the Pricing section, check the Discounts, Loyalty & Gift Cards option.
Create Promotions:
Go to Sales ‣ Promotions.
Click Create to add a new promotion.
