The irony of Gandalf arriving to my channel on time is not lost on me! Another Middle Earth Monday with the Fellowship of the Ring is upon us and it's time to paint up the mighty wizard himself. Gandalf might seem like he'd be a boring mix of greys to paint, but there's a lot you can do with different tones! Now that the Fellowship is almost all painted up, and I'll get the scenic base painted as well, it's already time to look ahead to my next series! FAQ:Adding a light spray of Grey Seer over a full coat of black primer adds a small amount of texture to the primer which gives the contrast paint more to grip on to. It also adds light and shadows which helps define the model more.
