How To Delete Your Proton Account

In this video, I will be showing you how to permanently delete your Proton account. Your Proton account is linked to all Proton services including Proton Mail, Proton VPN, Proton Calendar, and Proton Drive. Deleting your Proton account will delete all of your account data on all Proton services. Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover it. Proton does not recycle usernames, which means your Proton account username will not be available in the future to you or to other future Proton users.

Steps To Delete Your Proton Account:

1. Go to https://proton.me
2. Click Sign in
3. Enter your Proton account details to sign in
4. Click Settings
4. Click Go to settings
5. Click Account and password
6. Scroll down to the bottom and click Delete your account
7. Select a reason and provide feedback for Proton account deletion
8. Provide an email address in case Proton requires to contact you
9. Checkmark the box for Yes, I want to delete this account and all it's data.
10. Click Delete
11. Enter your Proton account password and click Authenticate

Note: If you have enabled two-factor authentication, you will also need to enter your 2FA code to continue with and complete the deletion.

Congratulations, you have successfully permanently deleted your Proton account.
