How to Play 2 Player Split Screen on PS5 Pro for Minecraft, Call of Duty, Fortnite, Rocket League
Playing 2-player split-screen on your PS5 Pro depends on the game you want to play. Many multiplayer games support this feature, but the setup process is generally similar across most titles. Here's how you can enable it:
Steps to Play 2-Player Split-Screen on PS5 Pro
Start the Game
Launch the game that supports split-screen multiplayer on your PS5 Pro.
Ensure the game is installed and updated to the latest version.
Connect a Second Controller
Turn on the second DualSense controller by pressing the PS button.
If the controller is not paired yet, connect it via a USB cable or follow the steps to pair it wirelessly:
Put the controller into pairing mode by holding the PS button and Create button until the light bar blinks.
Pair it in Settings - Accessories - General - Bluetooth Accessories.
Sign In as a Second Player
After connecting the second controller, you'll be prompted to choose a user account:
Option 1: Select a different PlayStation account on the console.
Option 2: Select Guest to play without signing into an account.
Enable Split-Screen in the Game
In the game menu, navigate to the multiplayer or split-screen mode.
Look for options such as Split-Screen, Local Multiplayer, or Couch Co-op.
The second player may need to press a button (usually X or the Options button) to join.
Start Playing
Once both players are signed in and connected, the game will activate split-screen mode.
Enjoy playing together!
