How to Add Text to Screen on OBS (Easy Tutorial)
To add text to your screen in OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), follow these steps:
Step 1: Open OBS Studio
Launch OBS on your computer.
Step 2: Create or Select a Scene
Create a New Scene or select an existing one where you want to add the text.
Step 3: Add a Text Source
In the “Sources” panel, click the “+” button at the bottom.
Select “Text (GDI+)” from the list of source types.
Step 4: Name Your Text Source
A dialog box will appear asking you to name the new source. Enter a name (e.g., "Overlay Text") and click “OK”.
Step 5: Configure the Text Source
Enter Your Text:
In the properties window, enter the text you want to display in the "Text" field.
Customize the Appearance:
Font: Click the "Select Font" button to choose the font, style, and size of your text.
Color: Choose the color for your text by clicking the color box next to "Color".
Outline: Enable and customize an outline for your text by checking the "Outline" box and selecting the outline color and size.
