How to play ROBLOX VR on OCULUS QUEST 2 with NO WIRES & NO SIDEQUEST | UPDATED APRIL 2021
2,117Welcome back to the channel guys VR Lad here back with another helpful Roblox tutorial. So recently virtual desktop got an update and that means you no longer need a USB for the initial setup or you don't need SideQuest at all anymore. meaning this is ROBLOX WITH 100% no wires and today I'm going to show you how.

IMPORTANT TO READ
**This video is partially repurposed from the old video but updated for the new method so some clips may be the same*
**I HAVE tested this and it 100% works**
*VD does come with a cost so seek bill payers permission*
** If you don't have a good network speed or a 5ghz router the performance of Roblox may suffer, you can also help by using a wired connection on your PC, I can't be held liable if something doesn't work as there are many factors that affect performance**
ANY UPDATES TO THE TUTORIAL WILL APPEAR HERE:
So what you'll need is
1. A gaming pc or laptop capable of running Roblox in VR and one that meets the specs for oculus link (https://support.oculus.com/444256562873335/)
2. An Oculus Quest 1 or 2
4. Steam VR
I would first recommend updating steam VR for this to work and I'm also going to assume you have Roblox player installed and you have all the software to run VR games on your PC (The oculus app - link below).

Now LADS this method does 100% work on both quests but it is always the case there are errors especially when there is such a large amount of people using this tutorial. So what I will do is after I post this video I will keep an eye on the comments section and over the next few weeks I will make a basic troubleshooting tutorial so let me know if you have any issues! If I have done that already it will appear over head here so if something isn't working then click that! But that's it guys.
