Hi. I'm Max Dalton, and in this video I'm going to talk through how to remove a card from Apple Pay through the Wallet app.

Maybe you switched banks and got a new debit card. Maybe you're moving to use a different credit card. Or, maybe you just want to make sure you don't rack up additional charges on a certain card for a period of time. The reasons can vary, but if you want to make 100% certain you don't put additional charges on a card using Apple Pay, the best way is to simply delete it. You can always add a deleted card back to your Wallet app to use it with Apple Pay at any time.

And now, the steps to remove a credit or debit card from your Apple Wallet.

Step 1. Tap the "Wallet" app on your Apple device. The Wallet app launches. A list of cards you have associated with Apple Pay appears at the top of the Wallet screen.

Step 2. Tap the card you want to remove from Apple Pay. The screen will adjust so that card is the only one displayed on the screen.

Step 3. Tap the "i" icon that appears in the lower right corner of the screen. The information screen associated with that specific card appears.

Step 4. Scroll down to the bottom of the information screen associated with that credit or debit card, and then tap the red "Remove Card" text. A warning will fly up from the bottom of the screen, notifying you that if you remove this card from your Apple Wallet it will also remove all of your transaction history from this device.

Step 5. Tap the red "Remove" text directly beneath the warning. If the card you removed was your default card for Apple Pay, a dialog box will appear that will tell you that your default card for Apple Pay has been switched to another card you have set up.

Congratulations! You've successfully removed a credit or debit card from your Apple Pay account through the Wallet app.
