If you forgot your Netflix password have no fear. You have multiple options for recovering a lost Netflix password. Using the email address or phone number associated with your account, you can choose to reset your Netflix password through either a phone call, text message, or email. In this video, I'll walk you through how to reset your forgotten Netflix password using the email and text message methods.
Step 1. Open a web browser and navigate to Netflix.com.
Step 2. Click "Sign In" in the upper right corner of the screen. The Netflix Sign In screen appears.
Step 3. Click "Need Help?" beneath the Sign In button. A Forgot Email or Password window appears.
First, let's walk through how to reset your lost Netflix password via email.
Step 1. Choose "Email" as the method to reset your forgotten Netflix password, and then enter the email address associated with your Netflix account as the location to receive your Netflix password reset instructions. Click "Email Me" after entering the required information. An Email Sent window appears on the screen, prompting you to check your email inbox.
Step 2. Open the email account you had the Netflix password reset instructions sent to, and locate the email from Netflix with a subject of Complete Your Password Reset Request. If you don't see this email, check your junk or spam folders. If you're still not finding an email, make sure you used the email address associated with your Netflix account.
Step 3. Click the "Reset Password" button in the body of the email. The Netflix Change Password screen appears.
Step 4. Enter the new password you want to use for your Netflix account in both the New Password and Confirm New Password fields. The only requirement for your Netflix password is that it be between four and 60 characters. Click "Save" after entering your new Netflix password in both fields. You'll be taken to your Netflix Account screen, where a message appears across the top of the screen informing you that your Netflix password has successfully been changed.
Now, let's walk through the steps to reset your lost Netflix password using a text message.
Step 1. Choose "Text Message," and then enter the phone number associated with your Netflix account to have the verification code sent to that number. Click "Text Me" after entering the required information. A Code Sent window appears on the screen, instructing you to enter the verification code texted to your phone.
Step 2. Enter the verification code you received, and then click "Verify." The Change Password screen appears.
Step 3.
