The Hulu video streaming service can be accessed on a wide variety of platforms, including Roku, iOS, Android and many more. When you initially access your Hulu account on a new device, you also have to verify that device in your Hulu account before you can start watching content. Over time, the number of devices associated with your account can start to pile up, and you'll likely have a laundry list of devices you've sold or given to other people. As a result, it's a good security precaution to review and remove devices associated with your Hulu account that you no longer use.

Now let's walk through the steps to deactivate Hulu devices.

Step 1. Open a web browser, navigate to Hulu.com, and then log in to your Hulu account if prompted. You'll arrive at your Hulu home screen.

Step 2. Hold your cursor over your Hulu profile name in the upper right corner of the screen to display a menu. Click "Account" in the menu. The Manage Your Account screen appears.

Step 3. Locate the Your Account section, and then scroll down to the Watch Hulu on Your Devices field in the Your Account section. Click "Manage Devices" on the right side of the Watch Hulu on Your Devices field. The Manage Your Devices window opens.

Step 4. Scroll through the list of devices associated with your Hulu account to locate the device you want to remove from your account. Click "Remove" on the right side of the line item associated with that account. That item will instantly be removed from the list and will no longer be associated with your Hulu account. Anyone who accesses Hulu on that device will be prompted to enter the username and password associated with a Hulu account. That device will also have to be added again to the list of devices you want to associate with your Hulu account.
