How To Restart Finder in Mac OS X

To restart the Mac Finder (that is, quit and relaunch Finder app) in OS X, you have two easy choices:
* Option + Right-Click on the Finder icon in the Dock, and choose "Relaunch" to immediately force restart the Finder
* Use the Terminal app and type 'killall Finder' to kill and relaunch the Finder application in OS X
Both of these easy tricks are demonstrated in this video, they're quick and work the same in all versions of Mac OS X, from OS X Yosemite to Mavericks, Mountain Lion, Snow Leopard, even the oldest versions out there. If you'd like to learn more, read the accompanying article:
