To close games on the PS5 console, you can follow these steps:

While you are in a game, press the PlayStation button on your DualSense controller. This will bring up the Control Center overlay.

In the Control Center overlay, you will see a row of icons at the bottom of the screen. Navigate to the rightmost icon, which represents the game you are currently playing.

Highlight the game icon and press the Options button (three horizontal lines) on your controller.

A menu will appear with several options. Select "Close Game" from the menu.

Confirm your selection by choosing "OK" when prompted.
