How to Revoke Access to Shared Steam Game Library (Break ups Tutorial)
To revoke access to a shared Steam game library, follow these steps:
Authorize another user:
Log into your Steam account on the computer where you’d like to share your games.
Ensure that Steam Guard security is enabled via Steam - Settings - Security in the Steam Client.
Go to the Steam Settings panel and select the Family tab.
Choose users who have also logged into this computer to share your library with.
Click the “Authorize Library Sharing on this device” switch.
Check the box next to the account you’d like to share your library with.
Request access from the owner:
Enable Steam Guard on your Steam Account.
In your Library, you’ll see games owned by other Steam accounts that use the same computer.
Select a game and click “Borrow” to request access to that respective Library.
Requesting access will send the game owner an email with a link to allow you to play games in their Library.
The game owner will then need to click the link in the email to authorize your computer and grant your Steam account access to their games.
Manage authorized devices and accounts:
Log into the Steam client and open Settings - Family tab.
In the Family Library Sharing section, click “Manage”.
Here, you can deauthorize any computer or account that has been authorized to share your library.
Alternatively, you can remotely deauthorize computers from the web by visiting your Account Details page and selecting "Manage Family Library Sharing
