How to rotate a video's orientation right side up and then save a new upright version of the video

This video will show you how, through using open source freeware software called VLC Media Player, how to rotate a video that plays with an incorrect orientation so that
the video then plays right side up, upright, and with a correct orientation, allowing you to then convert, compress, encode, and essentially save a new version of the video that will then play right side up on any playback device. This is especially useful for those of you who capture video using mobile cell phones or smartphones, where shooting video looks proper through the viewfinder how ever the video capture device is held, but once the video is copied, imported, or synced with your computer, you realize during PC playback that the orientation of the video is in fact wrong, appearing either sideways 90 degrees clockwise, 270 degrees clockwise (90 degrees counter-clockwise), or even upside down.
