People have sent me a few UltraHDMI kits with damaged connectors, so I uploaded this video to show people how I safely open the connector without breaking it. Use a very slight rolling motion with the thumb so you don't keep traveling after the snap releases. To release the other side, use your fingernail in the middle. When closing, push one side in, then keep it held-in while you close the other side. Otherwise it usually pops out and/or the flat cable does not stay straight.
