How to Screen Mirror your Samsung Phone to TCL TV & Connect (Google TV)
Screen mirroring your Samsung phone to a TCL Google TV is a straightforward process, as both devices support popular wireless display technologies. The easiest and most reliable method is to use Samsung's built-in "Smart View" feature.
Method 1: Using Samsung's Smart View (Best Method)
Smart View is Samsung's name for screen mirroring, which is based on the Miracast standard. It allows you to cast your entire phone screen, including apps, photos, and videos, directly to your TV.
Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network: Ensure your Samsung phone and your TCL Google TV are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. This is a requirement for the connection to work.
Enable Smart View on Your Phone:
Swipe down from the very top of your phone's screen with two fingers to open the Quick Settings panel.
Look for the Smart View icon. It might be on the second page of the quick settings, so you may need to swipe left to find it.
If you can't find it, tap the pencil icon to edit your quick settings and add it to the panel.
Select Your TCL TV:
When you tap Smart View, your phone will automatically scan for available wireless displays.
Select your TCL Google TV from the list of devices.
A pop-up might appear on your TV asking for permission to connect. Use your TV remote to select Allow or Accept.
Once the connection is established, your phone's screen will be mirrored on the TV.
