How to Change Language Back to ENGLISH on TCL TV (Google TV)
1If your TCL Google TV is set to a language you don't understand, don't worry. You can easily navigate the menus by following the icons and a specific path to change it back to English.
Step-by-Step Guide Using Icons
The key is to follow the visual cues (icons) rather than the text.
Open Settings: From your TV's home screen, look for the gear icon (⚙ ️ ) in the top-right corner. Use your remote to navigate to it and press OK.
Find Device Preferences: In the Settings menu, scroll down until you see an icon that looks like a TV screen with a circle inside or a TV screen with a gear. This is the "System" or "Device Preferences" menu. Select it and press OK.
Locate Language Settings: In the Device Preferences menu, scroll down and look for an icon that resembles a world globe (🌐 ). This is the "Language" setting. Press OK.
Change the Language: You will now see a list of languages. The first language on the list is the current one.
Use the up and down arrow keys on your remote to scroll through the list.
Find English and press OK to select it.
