How to Send a Message on Xbox App from Phone (Easier Chatting)
2Sending messages on the Xbox app from your phone is straightforward. Here’s how you can do it:
Using the Xbox App on Mobile:
Open the Xbox app on your mobile device.
Navigate to the Social tab.
To start a new chat:
Select a profile from your friends list and then choose Send a message.
Alternatively, tap the New chat icon and add one or more people from your friends list.
Type your message in the chat box.
When you’re ready, press Enter to send your message.
Xbox App for Windows:
Open the Xbox app on your Windows device.
Go to the Friends tab.
To initiate a chat:
If you recently played a game with someone, find them under Recently played with.
Start a new message by selecting their gamertag.
Enter your message in the provided box.
Xbox Console:
To message someone who isn’t on your friends list, you’ll need to know their gamertag.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Parties & chat - New chat.
Enter the gamertag or choose friends from your list.
Type your message and hit Enter.
Remember, you can also send voice messages on Xbox One by following these steps:
Snap an app and select Messages.
Click New message.
Choose a friend (or more) to send a message to.
Use the keyboard to type a message or press the B button to back out.
Click the new microphone option to record your voice message, and hit Stop when you’re done
