How to Turn ON or OFF Simple Link HDMI CEC on your LG TV (Easy Tutorial)
0To turn ON or OFF Simplink (HDMI-CEC) on your LG TV, follow these steps:
1. Access the Settings Menu
Press the Settings button on your LG TV remote (gear icon).
Navigate to All Settings (or Advanced Settings, depending on your TV model).
2. Find Simplink (HDMI-CEC)
Go to General- Devices - HDMI Settings (or Simplink (HDMI-CEC)).
Look for the Simplink (HDMI-CEC) toggle option.
3. Turn Simplink On or Off
To turn ON:
Toggle Simplink (HDMI-CEC) to ON.
Ensure Auto Power Sync is also enabled if you want devices to power on/off together.
To turn OFF:
Toggle Simplink (HDMI-CEC) to OFF.
4. Test the Feature
If Simplink is ON, you can control compatible HDMI-connected devices (like Blu-ray players, soundbars, or game consoles) with your LG TV remote.
If Simplink is OFF, HDMI-CEC functionality will be disabled.
5. Notes
Simplink only works with devices that support HDMI-CEC.
Ensure that HDMI-CEC is also enabled on the connected devices.
