How to Setup CoPilot on the Xbox One.
Hi, this video shows you how to setup co-pilot on the Xbox One S (also works on Xbox One). Co Pilot is designed to help those with disabilities who need 2 controllers to access the full range of buttons on the controller (for example if you had one arm so you could play will one arm and one foot).
It is also really useful if playing games with younger children who may need help on certain more complicated manoeuvres.
Also with a bit of imagination you can invent some fun games like on World of Tanks, one player could do the driving on one controller and the other player could use the gun turret on another controller so you have to co operate with each other similar to how a real tank operates.
Copilot links two controllers so you can use them as if they were one controller.
The person who turns on Copilot for their controller is the pilot. The pilot gets all achievements and gamerscore.
To turn on Co-Pilot
Connect a second controller to the Xbox for the co-Pilot.
The Co-Pilot can sign in or not – achievements and gamerscore don't go to this player.
Using the pilot's controller, go to Settings - All settings - Ease of Access -Controller.
Choose Co-Pilot settings, then Turn on Co-Pilot.
Select the Co-Pilot controller.
The controllers are now linked, and both controllers have full control. When you start a game, you can use either controller however you like.
To turn off Co-Pilot, go back to the Co-Pilot settings and choose Turn off Copilot or long press on the Xbox button and select- Turn off Co-Pilot
Many thanks Vince
