hey guys what's going on it's the
digital tutor here with another
step-by-step tutorial
and in today's video i'm just going to
show you how you can forward calls
from your skype app to a mobile or
downline telephone number
so what you need to do is open up the
skype app
and then just go ahead and log into your
account
okay
okay so i'm logged into my account now
this is a handy feature if
for example you're away from your
computer or laptop
uh what you can do is set it to forward
any skype calls
to your telephone number so what you
need to do is come up here to the free
dots
just up here give that a click and click
on settings
and from the settings if you look at the
menu on the left hand side you need to
go down and click on to call in
and you'll see options come up you need
to click on this one which says call
forwarding and voicemail
so once i see it free what you need to
do is just
come down here and click this with the
cross
to turn the call forward in feature on
you can actually set how long after your
scope's been ringing forward to forward
the course
to your mobile or landline number
so for example if someone tries to call
you on skype and it rings for 15 seconds
it will then be forwarded to the number
you put here
um obviously you can change that if you
want so after five seconds you can have
it forwarded to your
phone uh 10 20 25 how
whatever suits you really um in this
example we're just going to keep that
at 15 seconds and you've got a few
options for forwarding what you can do
is forward it to a voicemail
you can forward it to another escape
account or a mobile or downline
telephone number
um and in this example obviously we're
going to be using this option the mobile
or download number
so what you need to do now is click on
the box below which says your
country and region and just select your
country
and then it's going to put your code and
you just want to go ahead and put your
number here that you would like your
scope to be
skype calls to be forwarded to once
that's done click confirm
and that's now ready to go so anyone
that calls
through to my skype if i'm away from my
laptop i've set the call forwarding on
so any calls coming through to my skype
after 15 seconds will automatically
automatically be forwarded to my mobile
telephone number which is the number
i've just
put in here what you can also do is add
additional numbers so for example you
can put your mobile number
and then for example it could try that
for 15 seconds
and then you could add another number so
if you don't get from the mobile after
15 seconds it would then forward through
to your landline
now just bear in mind you may need skype
credit to use this feature um i believe
it depends on
the country but obviously you can check
out
