hey guys what's going on it's the digital
tutor here with another step-by-step
tutorial
and in today's video we're just going to
take a quick look at how to delete your
snapchat account
now in order to do this you would need
to be at either a desktop computer or a
laptop
as unfortunately you've not got the
option to delete your account from the
snapchat
app so what you need to do first is open
up your
browser
and then you need to come across to
accounts.snapchat.com
and then from there you just need to go
ahead and log into your account
you might get a quick verification today
i'm just going to enter the uh code
there we go um so i'm actually in my
account now
and what you need to do is just if you
look down
you've got a number of options and
there's one here just down here
there's a box that says delete my
account
so what you need to do is go ahead and
click that option
and what's going to happen it's going to
come up with a quick confirmation saying
um are you sure you want to leave us and
basically what's going to happen is
going to give you a 30-day period
in which if you log back into your
account within those 30 days
your account will be reactivated however
if you're definitely 100 sure that you
do want to delete your account
all you need to do is just not log into
your account for 30 days
and that will permanently delete your
account from the system
all this can ask you to do is just
re-enter your details below
to confirm you would like to delete the
account so you go down
here to these boxes and put your
snapchat
username and password once that's in
click continue
and you'll get the final confirmation
say your snapchat account will be
deactivated soon if you have verified an
email address with snapchat we'll send
you confirmation once your account has
been deactivated
and in 30 days your account will be
deleted
if you would like to reactivate your
account before that happens
