How to Setup Sound Bar on Firestick & Use Volume Button on Remote (100% Works!)
1No sound: Ensure soundbar input matches the connection (HDMI-ARC or Optical). Check TV audio output settings.
Volume not working: Confirm HDMI-CEC is enabled. Re-run Firestick setup: Settings, Equipment Control, Manage Equipment, Change Soundbar. Try different IR codes if prompted.
Interference: Move Bluetooth/Wi-Fi devices away from Firestick/TV. Restart Firestick by unplugging for 10 seconds.
Bluetooth Soundbar: If using Bluetooth, pair via Settings, Controllers and Bluetooth Devices, Other Bluetooth Devices, Add Bluetooth Devices. Volume control may not work reliably with Bluetooth.
Notes:
Time: 5-10 minutes.
Firestick remote must have volume buttons (Firestick 4K or newer; Lite models lack TV controls).
Some soundbars may not support Firestick remote control without HDMI-ARC/CEC.
