0Changing the keyboard on an Android device is simple and allows you to use a different keyboard app like Gboard, SwiftKey, or any other third-party option. Most Android devices come with a default keyboard, such as Gboard or Samsung Keyboard, but you can switch to another one based on your preference.
To change your keyboard, start by installing the keyboard app you want to use from the Google Play Store. Once installed, open any app that requires typing, such as Messages or Notes. Your device may prompt you to set the new keyboard as default. If that doesn’t happen, you can manually change it through the settings.
Open the Settings app on your Android device. Scroll down and go to System or General Management, depending on your phone model. Tap on Language and Input or On-screen Keyboard.
